We were all becoming a bit stir crazed with all the snow keeping us locked up inside the house. We decided to get out and freeze our butts off in the name of fun. We live fairly close to a park that happened to be closed but we didn't let that stop us - we sucked it in (literally) and squeezed between the fence and the gate in order to explore the untouched snowy plains. It was beautiful and SOOO much fun!

BTW running in the snow towing a 40lb child is not easy - you can't tell, but I was actually sweating :-/

I think Ollie stayed pretty warm ;)

So far this year we have had 1 amazing snow day (ok, perhaps not ah-maz-ing - but good for Kansas?). Anyways, we decided to take advantage and get our butts outside! Dressed in our mis-matched snow gear we headed to the backyard with Liam and the 2 hounds. Ruby, our Bernese Mountain Dog is made for this kind of weather - and it definitely showed. I don't think she has had that much fun in a while. Carrot our other little furry beast is only about 12 weeks old and was getting a bit lost in all the excitement - but she sure is cute covered in snow! Nonetheless we all had fun making snow angels and being attacked by our two wild and crazy dogs. Lets hear it for snow days!!
